Prayers for the New Year

Tutu Olatawura

How do you really know what your life purpose is? Is it really what you are good at? Is our gift our life purpose? I'm sure we all tangle with that and as we get older, some of us probably start to wonder if we have any gifts at all. And those thoughts are just in time since its the New Years. The time where we vow to make this year THE YEAR.  This year I refuse to partake in such thoughts. Its time to enjoy the moment and appreciate the process. So many times, I don't even stop to think about all I've accomplished and how far I've come. We are so consumed with reaching a certain goal that we don’t take time to smell the roses. Today, I feel so much better. Today, I feel like life is for the living and I plan to enjoy it all.

So I pray this year is filled with happiness, constant joy and laughter so hearty, you can feel it in your toes. I pray every jollof you eat this year tastes like the best you've ever had EACH and EVERY time. I pray you’re happier this year than you’ve ever been.

This gem I’m wearing is a bodysuit and I haven’t felt confident enough to wear it. But this year, I refuse to let my body dictate how I feel. I’m not saying I’m about to wear any and everything now. Because let’s be honest, not everything looks good on everyone. But if it fits and it’s lools great, a little fat ain’t never hurt nobody.

And can I just tell y’all how much I’m loving NARS velvet matte lip pencil. The way it lays on is smooth and looks absolutely delicious EVERYTIME. The only thing is, it is very expensive. I mean $27 for some funky lipstick, I wanna say NO THANK YOU but I can’t.

As always, thank you guys so much for showing me love on all my social media platform.
