Respect my hustle

Respect my hustle

They say people take advantage of others who always say yes, but when should you start saying NO? Branching off into a new adventure I've been advised to say yes to every offer due to the possibility of exposure. Due to this, I welcome every opportunity thrown my way, no matter how minuscule it may be. However, lately I feel like I'm working for nothing and I'm stretching myself thin. When you are new to the blogging game (well any game really), people tend to take advantage of your "newness." They know that you are willing to do anything for a shout out so they treat you differently than they would someone who is well established.  I truly am not doing this for money, money has never and will never be my motivation. I genuinely have a love for styling and putting looks together and damn it I like looking good, but sometimes a sistah need a little somethin' somethin'.  And by something, I'm talking more in terms of exposure.

I have a full time job and I am a mother to a very vivacious beautiful little toddler so my time is well stretched out.  My blog is my other beautiful little baby that I have been putting so much effort into and I am very proud of where it's going.  I welcome any opportunity as long as its benefiting me and my blog one way and another.  I'm actually a part of few new projects that I'm so excited to share with you guys when its complete. But when people ask bloggers to commit to projects with nothing to show for it, no promotions, no compensation, no nothing then I just have to say NO. No to the stress, no to the time, just NO! NO! NO! I am honored when people come across my blog and contact me and I thank them for taking the time out but we are all hustling out here in these streets, RESPECT MY HUSTLE AND I'LL RESPECT YOURS.

Enough of that....

So y'all, usually when I blog I drive all the way to downtown Columbus because that's where all the beautiful sceneries are located. Well, I found this little gem right next to my place. This place is so close, it takes 0.1 seconds to walk there. So I have to apologize in advance because when I'm being lazy and don't feel like driving all the way downtown, you guys are going to have to endure this background from time to time.  I just love how beat up it is, like a damsel in distress just kind of feel to it.  I cannot wait to do a very elegant outfit in the middle of all this ruin, I'm getting excited thinking about it. As a matter of fact, I'm about to go shop for the perfect outfit.

Ohh and about this hair, we will have to talk about it in another blog cause I've vented too much already lol.
