The best is yet to come

The best is yet to come

Happy thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas and all of that good stuff in a nutshell. I hope my readers can forgive me for taking shorts breaks from time to time. Sometimes its very necessary to silently reflect and go into a small hiatus. I do hope everyone's holidays are as blessed and as wonderful as mines. Going into this New Years, I want to make a vow to just enjoy life. We spend so much time worrying about tomorrow and the little things in life, that we forget to just appreciate what we have now. I remember complaining this week to my husband about everything wrong in my life and he told me to stop focusing on those things and focus on what's right. Life will suck from time to time, its the inevitable. But trust and believe it cannot and IT WILL NOT suck forever. One has to make the best of what they have. I remember when I was pregnant, I had no interest in doing anything because of the situation we were in back then. To be honest, I regret not documenting those important moments. I literally have like one or two pictures of my pregnancy and it pains me till this day. Things don't always stay the way they are and if we realize that, we will enjoy the life we live. Its not productive to be stagnant, we have to continue to strive for the best even if we do not know what tomorrow may bring. I will say, my 2016 was way better than my 2015 (a trying year). And I know my 2017 will be better than my 2016 in the name of Jesus. The best in yet to come.

Thanks for stopping by, XOXO.
